Fantastic acting in a film that got more intense as the story went on. The sound design was something I feel really added to some scenes and the mix of camera work made a film with little music seem that little bit more enjoyable. Glad I finally watched this one!

Haru 1996
I often watch movies that I really enjoy. These are usually just general recommendations or critically acclaimed classics from the past. I like to watch films this way.
It’s not often that films I love aren’t recommended in some capacity. I can’t think of a film that has become one of my favourites that I hadn’t known about and had some kind of expectation before watching. In this sense, Haru is a new experience for me.

Four Roads 2021
The expired 16mm film was a great choice for this had some beautiful shots, especially when it was burning up filming some flowers. Italian is a really nice language to listen to as well!
