I wanted to give The Last Showgirl a higher rating but I really couldn't. While part of you is hoping Pamela Anderson shines because she has never been given a decent role before. Anderson doesn't quite have the acting chops to pull it off. There is too much Pamela and not enough Shelly when watching the scenes.

Great performances by Adrian Brody, Felicity Jones, and Guy Pearce make the Brutalist one of the best films of the year. It has a running time of over 3 hours but the story encaptures you in that it seems quicker. The ending rapped up a little too quick which is why I didn't give it a higher rating though.
This film is bad. The dialogue wasn't funny, the movie was sappy, and the acting was hammy. I think Kevin Smith needs to call time on sequels. The 90's were a different era and Smith has lost his funny bone. Clerks III also adds elements that were not what made the original film terrific. A big no from me on a Mallrats 2.
