I like different music for different things. I like to listen to Rock. I like to dance to Jazz.

What do you like to do with Prokofiev?

    Fuck.

this miserable tale of man vs self chronicles a pitiful composer’s sad case of “male midlife crisis”, and damn is it funny. maybe one of the most subtly hilarious things i’ve watched in a while, the timing throughout is so brilliant and natural. some movies just have such a warm tone to…

watched at vidiots. perhaps one of my favorite cinema experiences ever. just straight theater kids and die hards singing and dancing and laughing and crying. goes to show that no amount of words on a screen could ever amount to the real life connections people have with art. that’ll always trump any critical essay or review.

i’ve never been more destroyed by a movie’s runtime. i wanted this to continue forever. absolutely beautiful i don’t even know what to say. i need a thesaurus.

this is such an authentic coming of age…

malkovich my man, my man. absolutely sinister duo him and ayo. this cult thriller avoids some cliches, and falls victim to a few others, but all in all is such a fun watch. the ending felt pretty anticlimactic but i don’t know what angle i would’ve rathered.

feels like there was an attempt made to make a jordan peele level psychological thriller but the mark was missed. the story just wasn’t tight enough. it’s gonna be interesting seeing this happen for years to come though.
