THIS is the TCM movie you all hate???
I don't know how much of a hot take this is but I really liked this one
I think a lot of it comes from Heather (the mc) really hitting some personal notes for me - her story speaks to me more than it might for a lot of other people so I guess there's some bias there
but man this is the first TCM movie in a while that feels like…

that scene with the chimp around the middle honestly scared me more than the actual alien
and don't get me wrong that thing was scary as hell too

I'm all for a Thor story taking itself seriously but this is not it
they couldn't even commit to that tone
the script is genuinely a disaster
the pacing is all over the place
the plot is so damn boring
the villain is a disaster
what happened here
at least whenever Loki was on screen it was close to being decent
well, this is it - a rewatch (probably my 20th by now) of my favourite... thing... ever - not just fiction, not just media in general, my single favourite *thing* in this world
words truly cannot describe the impact this movie has made on me as a person over my entire life and now it's inspired my beyond belief to make something good of my life and this rewatch has reminded me why again
nothing is ever going to compare…
