    Definitely a lot more slow and mundane than I remember. I still like it though, but I’m not entirely sure why.

    Everything and nothing happens in this film, is what my Dad said. Although he did fall asleep watching this tbf, which isn’t particularly high praise.

    Maybe a bit too Tarantino-esque for my liking, the hitman conversations seems incredibly reminiscent of Pulp Fiction.

    But still, this is darkly comedic outrageous fun, particularly from Colin Farrell.

    Paul Mescal somehow made me feel more sad than he did in Normal People and Aftersun.  Yes this film is genuinely that bleak and depressing.

    A beautiful portrayal of loneliness, grief and the need for human connection. It’s impossible not to be deeply moved by this film and entranced by the psychological fantasy elements the film fully embraces.

    Forget Paul Mescal, Andrew Scott is the real star here, perhaps his finest work to date even.
