How did Kurtz gain control of the natives in Cambodia in such a short time? It didn't seem like he was particularly ingrained in their culture/customs/religion but he was already worshipped as if he's god. And he did this as a white foreigner who almost certainly didn't speak the native language.
Other than that, this is might be the most realistic movie I've seen. It feels like I'm in the jungles of Vietnam/Cambodia during the middle of the war. Very long movie (Redux) but worth it.
