  A horror/comedy? No. It is neither of those. The funny parts were not funny. The scary parts were not scary.

  This is one of those films that is trying so hard to be deep that it actually becomes vapid. What is going on with horror directors these days?

  This movie is so gaudy and pretentious that it completely disregards any coherent narrative and just became a ridiculous hollow mess. Just because something is weird or stylistic does not make it good.

  Don't even get me started on the gratuitous sexual scenes and imagery. A mannequin vagina? Fuck. Off.

  I really feel like I’m missing something here.

  First of all, nurse Ratched is said to be one of the worst villains on screen. Really? To me.. She just wasn’t. I found her to be tough, but quite fair. She had her beliefs and she stuck to them, and yeah maybe she was a bit of a bitch, but I really didn’t see her do anything abusive or awful? I don’t really get it. 

  Secondly, how the hell is McMurphy…
