"Every woman is a witch, and every witch needs a coven!"
Frank, compassionate and essential insight from extremely courageous women. A compelling thesis overall. I would have loved for Sankey to zoom in to her individual experience from the very beginning before zooming out to relate it to girlhood, womanhood, and witches more broadly. I loved the different perspectives of medical expertise, lived experience, and academic interest.
Preferred the talking heads parts over the film clip compilations. I liked seeing…

Movies about ambiguous friendships and rekindled connections are so my thing but this didn't fully do it for me. It’s not that the connection between Matt and Mara wasn't believable. It’s that Mara's relationship with her husband wasn't. Sure, the development of that relationship is not the film's priority.
