A worthy film to the Predator franchise. Went with this one first since it parallels the original but is a sequel in its own right. It delivers on action and cast especially with Adrien Brody against his usual roles. Liked the story addition and the setting but some context felt forced and could've been delivered better.

Extended Cut
The addition of extra footage and an R rating makes everything make so much more sense. Cutting the runtime and changing the rating has never gone well for any film. If you brush past the style over substance it's heavily Brazil inspired and probably the best comparison I can think of is American McGee's Alice. Soundtrack and covers were great, especially White Rabbit.

Honestly, it was fine. IJ films always have absurd themes to it but I guess time travel is slightly better than ancient aliens. But to me it doesn't really feel like an Indy film especially towards the end.
The action scenes are okay at best but there's been enough tuk-tuk chases. Here's to me hoping they would keelhaul Indy and PWB like in FYEO, alas no.
Harrison Ford despite his age still has the stunt chops except he does seem considerably…

Cocaine Bear 2023
I hope this smashes the box office. Cocaine Bear is what cinemas need now that MCU burnout is really starting to kick in.
Take a odd premise, chock it full humour and gore and you've got yourself one helluva film. Everyone clearly had fun making this and the bear CGI is great! To see Elizabeth Banks directing is a surprise too.
