It's good, Brody is great but Jones absolutely steals the second half of the movie and Pearce plays a 20th century tycoon exceptionally well. I was not a fan of the montages(one before the intermission and one before the end), the real footage or the PowerPoint at the end, but after learning the budget was "under $10m" I can sort of forgive it.Translated from by -

Movie fucking rocks, they not only gave the monsters personality, but they made them (Kong) the main character of the movie(finally). Could've honestly done without the two human comic relief characters, they're kinda useless plotwise and not that funny. Mini Kong has them beat in both departments(new favorite titan ez). Most of the laughs in my theater came from things the monsters did rather than things the humans said.The crowd at my theater was super hyped, youd think…

Everyone needs a hype man like Stilgar.This movie was funnier than I expected. The first one had maybe 2 or 3 but this one turns it up quite a bit more. Also, any minor quibbles I have that would prevent this from being a 10/10 would be fixed if it was just longer because I didn't feel the runtime at all.
