The Woman in the Yard 2025
"Today's the day..."
Danielle Deadwyler is rapidly becoming one of my favorite and must-watch actresses in Hollywood. I love a good psychological thriller/horror as much as the next one, but The Woman in the Yard really made me take a pause by the time the credits rolled.
Just enough of the typical jump scares, but Deadwyler and director Jaume Collet-Serra conjure up a film that humans, both single and parents alike, will be able to relate to: a feeling of being trapped and hopelessness and how far you'll go to free yourself.
