  This film, though still very enjoyable, felt as if it lightly scratched the tops of the many topics it wanted to cover and never fully unveiled. The characters felt quite superficial, all except for Micky felt non-important and a bit too cartoonish. The plot progression lacked some subtlety, and the narration felt a little childish.

  The Brutalist 2024

  this was BRUTAL, and I’m not talking about the architecture.

  Beautiful cinematography and great acting from the entire cast. Though Adrien Brody especially acted his ASS off - bro had his rent due and it shows! Watched this in the cinema with a 15min intermission in the middle, but it honestly didn’t feel long!

  Note: this film is way more of a character study rather than an exploration of the Brutalist architectural style and its emergence.
