Vikram 2022
New layers unfold with every re-watch. The genius in Loki is visible from the start - the first half flows so perfectly, with Fafa outperforming everyone. Anirudh's rousing soundtrack towards the interval block almost brings me to tears - the three mighty dragon meme except make it five. Commercial cinema at it's finest.

Gladiator II 2024
For someone who didn't care much for the original Gladiator movie, watching this in cinemas was surprisingly exhilarating. Ridley Scott doing what he does best, but this time without taking himself too seriously.
Denzel Washington on God mode. Sweaty dirty Paul Mescal. Pedro Pascal as charming as always.
The movie heavily relies on it's conservative ideas, but what actually annoyed me was it's relentless acceleration. That's forgiveable in this economy, i guess ? Just give us the director cut.Translated from by
