This movie could have been a routine entertainer with this story, but they tweaked it in a well-written screenplay with a perfect balance of laughter and emotions, making it an engaging film.

I could easily sense that Shankar was channeling his older self while making Game Changer. He had clearly put in maximum effort to recreate the magic of his old superhits, using the same formula but with the intention of crafting a modern-day blockbuster. As someone who grew up on Shankar's big ticket films, I couldn't help but feel a wave of nostalgia while watching Game Changer.
Although Game Changer wasn't a bad film and it evoked nostalgia of watching his old blockbusters, I found it to be merely average.

However, the movie falls in the second half, particularly when it delves into the revenge storyline. The protagonist's quest for vengeance follows a usual template, typical of an action entertainer, and fails to match the quality established in the first half. Nevertheless, the film remains a satisfying watch, thanks to the lead's stellar performance, impressive action sequences, and high production values.
