  really important insight into ballroom culture that i didn’t know much about

  honestly a very gutting sad documentary, really eye opening though, we often romanticise the 80s but honestly this was a time of huge struggle and hurt for the queer community and this documentary really highlights that, but it was is so powerful because it shows how resilient and hopeful the community was

  important to watch, especially as we’re seeing trans people (& the whole queer community) suffering through hate and transphobia still so often
