  so so grateful that i got to see this in theaters. to begin, i feel that grand debauchery scenes are absolutely done justice by maximalism. my friend compared the opening of babylon to eyes wide shut - a great comparison, i loved both scenes, but I especially appreciate the overindulgence and the exaltation of a glorified old hollywood rampage. “more is more” is what the movie aims to achieve after showcasing all bodily fluids within twenty minutes. the toilet paper…
