Couldn't look away. So many bizarre and sometimes hilarious twists and turns in such a quiet, low-key documentary. The stakes are continuously raised and things get weirder and more unsettling as the film goes on. One sometimes gets the feeling they are watching a documentary about a serial killer rather than one about a comic book artist. What emerges is an intricate psychological portrait of a very strange, very talented man and his even stranger family.
