with algorithmic content especially we are all in the midst of most powerful propaganda possible and photojournalists are nothing but another expendable pawn in the long con. the spectacle is the point

journalism may be biased but it at least we get the opportunity to make up our own minds with the images they present, seeing is believing. a better sequel to 28 Days Later than weeks! i'm really hoping the new one doesn't suck.. when “Days” came out i was 11. i thought it sucked, i was wrong

firmly believe 'the new literalism' in cinema is a real thing, especially when it feels out of date by already the time it comes out. you can definitely see why Warner Bros sat on this one for a bit. Pattinson is incredible as always, Ruffalo is rough to watch. felt like a film better suited towards kids at times and i enjoyed it for that.. it just hurts and is distracting when someone is banging you over the head over and over

if there’s any movie that’s been made in my lifetime that i wish i could say i made,
it’s this one. captures life growing up in a neglected and impoverished rural shithole somewhere in the wild west with zero prospects or potential opportunities with astonishing authenticity - maybe even more importantly with an affection and tenderness that could have only come from someone who has experienced it themselves

i can understand why many consider this film a sort of freakshow-esque…
