  Not even sure I’m allowed to be rating this yet but whatever.  

  2D animation definitely has its unique style and look that can be hit or miss with people. This conveys so much emotion, which can be tricky with the style. But it was enough to overlook any imperfections and shortcomings the film had. 

  Probably better catered to kids, but it could land on other open minded age ranges.

  Yeah. Unfortunately this is just super uninteresting. 
  I’m an average to slightly above average “middle earth” fan, and this genuinely added nothing new and never pulled me in.

  The satirical stereotyping made this funny and enjoyable. 
  There’s too much to unpack to get too specific but in short, objectively solid movie. On the subjective side, I think it just barely missed on some of the deeper issues.
  In the end, there was hope in being an average human and I think that was the important point.
