    I remember this film having a complete chokehold over my childhood. It was a staple for DVD rentals and watching it at friends’s houses. I was worried that this wouldn’t hold up like it did, and while it is not perfect, it’s still entertaining.

    Dwayne Johnson does a good job playing the snarky, self indulgent sports icon, while also playing a convincing loving father. The dynamic really works between him and his daughter, and I like the story…
