guys i love stitch. i’m so excited for the lilo and stitch live action.
the first time i watched lilo and stitch was in may of 2023 actually, so i’d never seen all the other lilo and stitch stuff that has been released. this movie was so fun and so epic.
stitch just wants to meet all his cousins!! can’t fault a guy for wanting a family :)
i had literally never heard of this movie until like 3 hours before we watched it. it was the very last movie in joe’s oscar bowl spreadsheet so i always missed it when i looked at it.
i keep forgetting to write this review but i liked this movie a lot actually. felt a lot less stressed because the focus was on the reporters and journalists, rather than the actual hostages. honestly a pretty good movie, but not the type of movie i would expect to be oscar nominated.
yall i did NOT enjoy this movie.
i will not deny that it’s well made and i’ll give it snaps for that but god, this was so unenjoyable for me. horror just really isn’t my thing and i suppose i can’t really fault the film for that but i was uncomfortable for genuinely the entire movie.

stanley tucci is my fav always but man oh man, ralph fiennes takes the cake!!! i love the menu (it’s in my top 4 on letterbox) and there were so many times throughout this movie where i was like “damn, he really has perfected the contemplative stare with a slight smile and tears welling up” he is just so darn good in this!!
