No Country for Old Men 2007
Not even sure where to start with this review. This movie fucking blew me away. It is unbelievably intense, despite the lack of music. The silence in some of the scenes just builds the anxiety you feel. The theme of chance and unfairness stood out to me and Javier Bardem puts it on display, along with some of the best acting i’ve ever seen. He is absolutely terrifying. I don’t trust anyone who dislikes this film, this is an immediate all timer.
