I didn’t think I liked this at first but then just couldn’t get this damn film outta my head. I was remembering scenes after, like they were disturbing little dreams.
A mundane vision of trauma that is the most realistic I’ve seen yet. A haunting character study and Elizabeth is just so talented 😭

a weirdly serene film to watch at 2 am and fall asleep to in a good way. melancholic, kinda self indulgent, I wanted to hate it so bad but fell in love with Johansson at her ingenue best and Coppola’s tenderness.
