Not sure what to think. Weird arcs. In the end a rather standard story about power relations and silent oppression. And indeed not at all about architecture let alone brutalism.

This is what an academic paper in a movie form feels like. But the three hours passed by quickly, amusing and building a case for the cultural place of the video store.

I probably had wrong expectations by reputation of the makers, although I did know it was not intend to relate to Black Mirror series at all.

For me this is a classical example of trying to be funny without succeeding. Humor is personal of course, but I think it objectively adds nothing to the storytelling.

My advice: if you don’t like it after the first five minutes stop watching; it won’t get better.
