Funny Games 1997
A misanthropic subversion of the torture porn (sub?)genre.
The audience(you) doesn't care about the family being harassed, or characters, or their motives, they're only there to watch the family suffer and die. When the family does get the upper hand, they rewind it and it's as we were, giving you what you're there for.
Hope this doesn't make me seem particularly weird but I really enjoyed this.
