unironically a real immigrant story. was lowkey teary eyed when paddington spoke about where he’s from and where he belongs.
however, sally hawkins would’ve made this film a 4 stars and paul king would’ve made it a 4 1/2 stars. (and less antonio banderas)

deserving of the praise. a true achievement to bring back the large scale biopic and not just appear as a money grab. from the score, to the editing, and the ensemble performance i was captivated by this film on the first watch and stayed that way on my second, third, and fourth viewing. the jfk name drop hard tho cliche, had me gasp. jfk always inserting himself in the drama.
