i thought i would try and shake thing a up and just pick the first movie that popped up… and now im scarred for life. needless to say i made it roughly 30mins into this before i tapped out. pure content whoring garbage.

The Batman 2022
ooookay now i got it. really well shot, directed, and acted…. but the music and dialogue got on my nerves. so it’s definitely a fun and well made batman to watch, but a couple of wtf decisions stop this from being something special instead of very competent.

Bullet Ballet 1998
thaaaaats what i’m talking about. i was really impressed by tetsuo, but this is perfection. where tetsuo reveled in its own chaos, bullet ballet controls this chaos into a more visionary and intentional style. not as slathered together, if that makes sense… there were some real stand out sequences like the gang fight in the street midway through. the micro budget atmosphere, the almost illegible editing (in a good way?), and great performances… so many different aspects have been sharpened…
