  As someone who loved Yorgos previous film, “The Favourite” I could not finish “The Killing of a Sacred Dear” so I did not really know what to expect when walking in to see “Poor Things”.
  Overall this movie delivered, in typical Yorgos fashion, a beautiful, artistic, and strange film. Despite the script and sexual liberation narrative being a bit gratuitous at times, I was unbothered because Emma truly gave a career performance to this nuanced role.
