  It is truly such a treat to grow up with Bridget Jones. It's so rare we get to see a flawed, funny female character like this *age* beyond her rom-com ending and see so many aspects of her life, failing and pulling herself together so many times. Is there any other example of this?! I don't think so!!! It's a freakin TREAT. I cried a lot, A LOT! So moving and except for 2 lil story things that bumped me it's just a perfect Bridget Jones romp.

  i cannot imagine any person reading this script and thinking, "we need to make this." it is so meandering and chaotic and long, and yet, it is so good. a beautiful, American blend of tragedy and joy. if you haven't seen it, be sure to watch it in a theater! saw it at the academy museum theater and it was 🤌
