I finally got around to rewatching this.
My thoughts on this movie have changed somewhat but they haven’t shifted entirely like I expected they would on a second watch.
When I compare this to other Nolan films that I’ve seen, excluding the superhero films, I find that (CURRENTLY) this film lacks an emotional centre.
Is this a groundbreaking, cinematic masterpiece of storytelling on a character, period of time, and a historical event? Yes.
