not the greatest from nolan, but still a good watch. i was a little disappointed bc i suck at figuring out twists and i figured out this one ab half way through :/

this is on of the best adaptations of a short story, and depiction of childhood in a film.
i can't get over how good the balance between cgi and practical effects are, and especially the transfer of the original character designs.
this was my favorite book growing up, and although this wasn't my favorite movie, seeing it in theaters when it came out touched my heart in a way i had never experienced from a movie before.
