The Prestige 2006
not the greatest from nolan, but still a good watch. i was a little disappointed bc i suck at figuring out twists and i figured out this one ab half way through :/
there's a lot of things nolan has to juggle within the plot that unfortunately drag down the script. you could call it "misdirection" but many parts of the plot drop in and out without any real resolution.Translated from by -

Megalopolis 2024
appreciate what good ole francis was going for, but kinda anticlimactic for a movie 40+ years in the making.
saw this in a full theater and had to sit front row, so not the best view. although i will see it again to have a more confident opinion on a second watch, the audience seemed to share my confusion on how to feel about the movie.Translated from by -

this was my favorite book growing up, and although this wasn't my favorite movie, seeing it in theaters when it came out touched my heart in a way i had never experienced from a movie before.
