I am a sucker for any kind of war depiction and after watching this mini series twice in past 6 months, saying it’s worth the hype is an understatement. This is probably a “no shit” review because obviously it’s extremely well renowned and one of the best depictions of WW2 ever. But my god this is one of the most phenomenal pieces I’ve ever seen. My great grandfather served in Europe and fought in some of the places it depicts…

Just when I thought the you couldn’t get better than the first movie this blew me away. The animation was phenomenal and probably some of the best I’ve ever seen. Stayed up until 2 am watching this one for the first time in years. There isn’t much to say that isn’t obvious or already said. One of my all time favorites and certainly an all time movie. Wish the genre wasn’t as stale as it is now and mirrored this one. I rarely watch movies as flawless as this and I wish the way it set standards in the genre after its release would still be translating today in what is probably one of my favorite genres. This could be the best movie ever made.
