  It‘s not only the femicide. This series captures a lot of society‘s issues leading to this gender-based violence. It‘s the (underlying) sexism. The gender stereotypes. Misogyny. Heteronormativity. Homophobia. The male entitlement. Hurt egos. Mistaking disrespect, rage and aggression for masculinity. Feeling superior. Turning from the „weak“ victim to the „strong“ perpetrator. The manosphere not helping boys and men, but harming them, too. Social media is not the root, it‘s a symptom and an accelerant.
