  Arguably one of the most referenced films in anime. 

  I understand why everyone loves this film or it’s so highly rated. For me however the pacing is just too out of wack in moments where the threat levels should feel at their peak. 

  The sense of impending doom doesn’t get enough opportunity to stick because it gets drawn out too long or too short at different moments.
