  I LOVED this movie when I was 16. I snuck into a movie theatre to watch it with my best friend at the time and afterwards told everybody i knew how much i loved it. Now rewatching it as a 23 yr old, it’s…okay. I know joey morgan unfortunately passed away recently and I also loved him in flowers. he carried this film in my opinion.

  Going into this film I was nervous. After having to sit through a year long media feud over this movie, this blockbuster remake started feeling more like an underdog story.   This whole time I assumed this was the finale. After watching the trailers again after seeing the movie, It felt incredibly misleading. I will say I do prefer Madds over Johnny as Grindelwald but even he couldn’t save this film. This whole franchise seemed doomed from the start and it keeps getting more and more convoluted and confusing. I struggled to even give this two stars.
