Bawnjourno!
I make half-assed reviews. Please don't perceive me.
Visually, the film is stunning, but as the weight of its story sinks in, admiration turns into discomfort. The more we understand the characters, the further we withdraw, not just from them, but from the film itself. It doesn’t just make you think; it challenges you to sit with the discomfort of its truth.
It’s a film that lingers long after the credits roll, and while I respect it, I wouldn’t recommend it to everyone. Some may find it unbearable. Even I, despite appreciating its craft and message, struggled to watch it.
This was so camp. I wished I'd watched it with my mom. I just knew she'll love it.
This could've been made into a film. I can't believe I let this man trauma dump on me for 7 epsiodes.
