    A riveting piece of filmmaking that effectively delivers what it plans to do without stalling in any way possible. This is bolstered by a sharp script with cutting dialogue, excellent performances across the board, a beautiful and sleek production design (what I would give to have that stunning house, my god), great camerawork, and a lovely score to hear. Steven Soderbergh really did his thing here.

    Bong Joon-Ho doing what he does best: delivering his signature commentary on capitalism and its effects on how humans operate under such a system and how they view their humanity when trying to get by each day. It’s not quite on the same level or as tight as Parasite, as it does try to hold the weight of its own, bigger ambitions but not completely successful including in the third act. Nonetheless it still delivers its messages effectively and entertainingly.…

    There are movies that would work better as a TV show and TV shows that would work better as a movie. I think this falls into the latter category.

    Alfonso Cuarón does some really interesting work with adapting the book into this series, but generally I think there would be a much stronger effect had this all been edited down into one movie. Adapting this as a singular movie rather than 7 episodes would make for a more tighter pacing…

The fact that this show opens with a recreation of the Tulsa Race Riots immediately declares the intentions of this series, which in my opinion could definitely fit in the original graphic novel.
