The Graduate 1967
Watched this so I could write an essay about it for a history class. I'll definitely have a lot of interesting things to write about. Dustin Hoffman did an excellent job at portraying Ben and his disillusionment alienation and awkwardness those parts really resonated. Mrs. Robinson is a fascinating character too, both she and Ben are desperate for some kind of meaning and seeing how their journeys to find that play out was great. Loved the cinematography and editing too a lot of cool tricks there.

Monty Python and the Holy Grail 1975
Wasn't sure what to expect going in. I've heard various opinions from people I know saying it's amazing, it's good but overrated, or it's terrible. A lot of the earlier scenes were slightly diminished for me because I've seen so many memes and internet references that I already knew what was coming, and because of that I don't think I enjoyed those jokes as much as others seemingly do. But anyway that's not the movie's fault and once past that my experience improved. Lots of stuff that was very unexpected and very funny, v enjoyable movie overall.

Went just as hard on second watch as it did first time. The tension, the drama, etc. even knowing how it ends still loved it. Amazing movie.
