Holy crap, Letterboxd! I'm acquainted with Fightmarker so I was very excited when I saw that this was on Letterboxd. Reviewing this as a movie next to the other things I review is tough, but there's no denying that it is an impressive project jam-packed with great jokes, impressive visuals, and a distinct style on all fronts. The Wild Robot 2024
I swear I teared up at least 5 times during this. The story just flows so naturally, and its aided by stylish animation, excellent characters, and subtle but effective messages about nature. It reminds me of many great films before it but is still very much its own thing with a structure that feels like it's probably a very accurate adaptation of the book minus one or two scenes that feel more generic. The story is told in a unique and beautiful way, really happy I saw this and I'm hoping to see more like it from Dreamworks.
