  At times I wondered if this film was too still, but I’ve left feeling like I’ve been in a movie theatre in Taiwan for the last hour and a half, so the atmosphere it created totally transported me. My soul feels melancholy and magical all at the same time. 

  I feel inspired about my own feature I’ve been pitching that also aims to have long, static holds to emphasise the loneliness and isolation of the landscape in which it’s set. …

  For someone who loves Interstellar, Star Wars and Wall-E I can’t believe I haven’t watch this film before. Suddenly a lot of things make sense 😂

  The first time I watched this I wasn’t sure how I felt about it, but watching it a second time on the big screen changed me 😂 I love it. The little girl behind us towards the end sadly said “I don’t have a panda in my life”… I welled up a few times myself. Also really appreciate all the fun stylistic choices Pixar made with this one especially the crash zooms into their faces throughout.
