Uma is SO COOL. I want to be like her. This film is worth watching purely for Radhika Apte's endlessly expressive, funny, wild performance - her character just leapt off the screen and brought such an infectious energy.

It does make me laugh how mis-promoted (?) this was - I mean, there is some mild nudity, but it really isn't that shocking, and there's much more of a focus on The Kid's and Mike's careers/relationships/personal demons than I was expecting. There is real potential for a good film, shame it was so shittily written. Maybe it was just because I had subtitles on (everyone was fucking MUMBLING) so it made it more obvious, but the script was so clunky.

Truly ridiculous in every way, but the sheer amount of plot twists and melodrama warrants a bit of respect from me. I was entertained throughout and that’s a rare occurrence

The cinematography is stunning - I loved the intensely moody, dark and gothic look of the film. I'm so glad I got to see this on a big screen because it was a true feast for the eyeballs.

Sadly I thought the dialogue was mostly shite and I hated some of the casting choices - not mentioning any names. Some scenes were just funny when I doubt that's what they were going for. Also why did Bill Skarsgård talk like that?!
