Inglourious Basterds 2009
Inglorious Basterds proves itself to be one of the best war films ever made and one of the best Quentin Tarantino films ever made with its dedicated performances, wonderful direction and cinematography, the jaw dropping action and that unforgettable ending. Sadly it’s just one of those films we don’t get anymore.

No Country for Old Men 2007
An excellent crime western that surprises you at every turn, No Country for Old Men is a dark and gritty watch that I thoroughly enjoyed. This film is bursting with suspense and wonderfully developed characters expertly played by great actors. Where this film strives fully though is in its silence, sometimes quietness can be the loudest and build the most tension whilst letting the Coen brothers’ steady direction and Roger Deakins’ breath-taking cinematography speak for themselves. Truly mesmerising stuff and an all round amazing film.
