Pretty cool premise, visually very spectacular. I feel like the writers did Anya’s character dirty, demoting her from badass assassin to object of desire. Some of the writing in general could’ve done with a bit more attention. Would’ve been great as a single season series to draw out the suspense more imo.
Tonally, it felt like the writers wanted to do the ‘Overlord’ style ‘what if?’ timeline where [redacted] country did [redacted] thing BUT, just missed where it wasn’t serious enough or silly enough to land. All round fun watch, love a good gun turret scene.
