I just finished the book so I wanted to rewatch the movie. Both the movie and the book are so well done. The book is beautifully written and the movie is a perfect companion, one of my favorite adaptations ever. They make me feel empty but I love them both so much.

Sissi: The Fateful Years of an Empress 1957
Just as pretty and cute as the first two. I was so worried something was going to happen and there wouldn’t be a happy ending, but there was! The sets and costumes still continue to amaze me. All of the characters continue to be just as endearing and entertaining as they were…

Heretic 2024
I thoroughly enjoyed listening to Hugh Grant rant about religion, board games, and music (he meows, plays The Air That I Breathe by The Hollies, sings Creep by Radiohead and talks about the Lana Del Rey Get Free lawsuit!). I also very much so appreciated the fact that the religious people were the protagonists and not the antagonists unlike most of the religious horror movies I’ve seen. A great physiological thriller with a religion and pop culture aspect tied into it!

Home Alone 2: Lost in New York 1992
“Who wants to spend Christmas in a tropical climate anyway?”
Oh to spend Christmas in New York in the 90s.
One of those rare instances where the sequel is just as good as the original. Just like the first one I absolutely adore the colors and Christmas decorations in the movie as well as the score. A magical Christmas movie!🎄🎁☃️Translated from by
