  Watched for History of US Foreign Policy.

  Technically alright, but a chore to sit through. Also, racist as all hell, which I guess really makes sense for a 1915 film. Nationalistic perspectives on history from the producer that brought you Birth of a Nation. The main message: white woman pure and good, Mexican man dirty and bad.

  What Soul is:
  - beautifully animated, with a lot of abstract concepts illustrated surprisingly well. Big fan of the “in the zone” sequences and the imagery communicating the feelings inside of a “lost soul.”
  - moving, with a really beautiful message to appreciate every small moment in one’s life.
  - really entertaining! Maybe not Pixar’s best ever, but with their filmography, the upper echelons are near flawless.
