Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny 2023
I feel like this movie has all the ingredients to craft a classic Indiana jones adventure but still doesn't quite finish the recipe. It's like having a perfect A5 Wagyu steak but forgetting the salt.
James Mangold is of course a more than capable director who has made some of my favorite films but the missing salt in this case is one Steven Spielberg. The man has the Midas touch when it comes to bringing the magic to his films, and despite being produced by Disney, it's sadly lacking any of that magic that makes Indiana Jones timeless.Translated from by -
