So many tender themes explored in this movie. Aging, for women, is cruel, and Shelly learns this throughout the film’s course, as her lifelong passion of dance leaves her behind, leaving her to ask who she really is, and if it was all worth it. Cool subplot with her estranged daughter, Jamie Lee Curtis brings some hilarity to the mix, and Eddie delivers a compelling character.
