Haven't read the book but I felt like this was a great story pulled out until it became a bit of slog. felt like it was trying to juggle all these mad story elements trying to mash them together and make them work. Could have been really great but spent too much time fumbling around with half baked commentary on politics. I didn't enjoy his weird accent
