    Captain America: Brave New World

Like most Marvel movies, Captain America: Brave New World probably won’t earn the flowers it deserves amongst the general public, but I think it lands somewhere in the upper mid tier of MCU movies for Marvel fans.

It was nice to revisit the storyline of Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson and I think they did a pretty good job given all the craziness of the Multiverse Saga. I thought the acting of Danny Ramirez’s Joaquin Torres was much improved over his…

Timothée Chalamet does it again in this captivating biopic. From the set designs to the remastered music, and of course TC’s wildly convincing performance, A Complete Unknown pulls viewers into the 1960’s unlike many other films I’ve seen. It’s very easy to forget at times that Chalamet isn’t himself Bob Dylan. Very impressive and entertaining movie.

Deadpool and Wolverine is a great summer blockbuster and a breath of fresh air for the MCU. While it didn’t have nearly as much greater implications to the rest of Marvel as I thought it would, it was still as action packed and full of cameos as you’d expect. Jackman’s reprisal of Wolverine was impressive as always, and Reynolds’ performance carried once again. Biggest gripe was that mostly all of the good jokes were spoiled by the trailers. Don’t go into this one with as lofty expectations as I did, but you’ll definitely leave the theater utterly thrilled.

The Fall Guy is hilarious and exhilarating. Gosling and Blunt are a perfect pair, the storyline is great, and it’s a true tribute to the unsung stuntmen and women out there. My only minor complaint could be that ~maybe~ Colt and Jody get a bit too much screen time together, I felt it was a bit much, but it definitely gamers home their undeniable chemistry.
