I had the pleasure of first seeing Dylan's work when she submitted her short film, 'The Triangular Door,’ to the Pest Control Film Festival in Michigan, where it won 'Best Short Short'.

When I saw she had a feature - that was also available to buy via Vinegar Syndrome - it was a no-brainer, immediate blind buy.

I’d compare this viewing experience to drowning in a lake of molasses. Every second of ‘Longlegs’ drips with dread. Tonally, it’s perfect; nihilist cinema at some of its most unnerving. Nicolas Cage gives another masterclass in otherworldly performances. Though the third act can’t quite live up to the jarring second, the whole is greater than the sum of its parts and baby this adds up.
